Loyalty Ends Here is a formidable metal band that thrives on captivating that early 2000-era melodic sound and deeply personal lyrics. Comprised of skilled musicians, Richard on vocals, Menno on drums, Maurits on bass, Tristan on lead guitar,, this talented group brings forth a unique blend of influences from renowned metal acts such as Trivium, As I Lay Dying, and Lamb of God to name a few.

The band's name, Loyalty Ends Here, carries a profound meaning that resonates throughout their music and lyrical themes. Their lyrics delve deep into the complexities of human connections, exploring the dichotomy between loyalty and betrayal. Through their music, they paint a vivid picture of the fragility of relationships, especially in the face of adversity. The band's emotionally charged compositions and impassioned performances serve as a cathartic outlet, allowing listeners to navigate the intricate tapestry of human trust and deceit.

Drawing inspiration from their metal predecessors, Loyalty Ends Here crafts a sound that is both unrelenting and melodic. Their music seamlessly blends aggressive guitar riffs, thunderous drumming, and powerful vocals to create a sonic assault that captivates audiences. With a driving riff-based intensity reminiscent of Trivium, the infectious and catchy energy of As I Lay Dying, and the groove-laden rhythms akin to Lamb of God, Loyalty Ends Here has carved out a distinct niche within.

In 2023, the band participated in the national Metal Battle. Out of 48 competitors they came out victorious and taking home all the awards the competition could give them. The energy and enthusiasm they radiate earned them the title of No.1 Upcoming Metal Band in The Netherlands. With their evocative music and a powerful message, Loyalty Ends Here is more than just a band – they are a force to be reckoned with.

Bron: Zware metalen.

t must have been around 1978 that I first heard AC/DC's 'Whole lotta Rosie', followed by Van Halen’s ‘Eruption’. That is where my love for heavy music started, to never disappear anymore. As a teenager I witnessed the birth of The New Wave of British Heavy Metal, with bands like Iron Maiden, Def Leppard, Tygers of Pan Tang, Raven (I became penpals with John Gallagher) and many more. Then the Americans countered with Metallica, Riot, Virgin Steele and too many others to mention. Later countless Hair Metal bands dominated MTV, and the Shrapnel-shred revolution was magnetic.  I never stopped listening to heavy metal music ever since.

Still, there is only one thing better than listening to heavy metal music, and that is playing it yourself.

After spending 3 useless years in music school at the age of 10 playing keyboards, I decided to become a self-taught musician. At the age of 15 I bought a Gibson SG replica and tried to learn guitar, but that attempt failed completely; I just could not get the hang of it. I noticed however that I had a good rhythmic feeling.  So when a friend of mine needed a drummer, I decided to put every penny I had into buying a drum kit. Our first band RAZOR was born in 1983.

We were ambitious and ready to conquer the world with our own music. Being a drummer felt rewarding and I developed my style and skills rapidly. We played lots of gigs and had a loyal following of fans. However, when bandmate Andrew Elt was asked to join Gin on the Rocks in 1985, I decided to finish my school instead of trying to become a professional musician. That was the end of RAZOR.

From the mid 90’s onwards I became an active musician again, mostly playing in local bands and projects, not only hard rock and heavy metal, but also even playing disco and dance classics.

No Kings Allowed is a six-piece metal band from the Netherlands and Belgium, forging chaos, creativity, and catharsis into sound. Known for their fusion of deathcore, metalcore, and cinematic atmospheres, they’ve built a style that’s both brutally heavy and emotionally charged.

Their new EP Dark Reign (out October 10, 2025) marks a defining moment for the band — an exploration of war, oppression, and resistance across six intense tracks. Written and produced entirely in-house, the record reflects both global turmoil and personal rebirth, with songs like Fated to Die and The Day of Reckoning standing as emotional peaks.

Following the theft of their tour gear and iconic masks, No Kings Allowed made the decision to perform unmasked, embracing vulnerability and unity.

With over 300,000 streams, 30+ releases, and shows that erupt into shared catharsis, the band continues to expand its reach — from underground venues to festival stages.

No Kings Allowed isn’t about idols or hierarchy. It’s about six musicians transforming struggle into sound — and inviting everyone to be part of it.

”Black Rabbit is a concept-driven death metal band from the Netherlands, blending relentless aggression with mythic storytelling and ritualistic atmosphere. Their new release ‘Warren of Necrosis’ explores the legend of a fallen priest who, through sacrifice and obsession, became the demonic entity known as Black Rabbit.
Black Rabbit made their first impact with the release of their debut EP and single in 2020, laying the foundation for their unfolding story of darkness and transformation. This path continued with the first full-length chapter of their legend: Hypnosomnia (2023) — an album exploring the boundaries of consciousness and dream manipulation. Building upon that, Chronolysis (2025) delved deeper into the human psyche — a sensory descent into the horror of sleep paralysis. These releases elevated the band to new heights, leading to performances in renowned venues such as Patronaat, Iduna, and even the Brabanthallen, while sharing stages with giants like Baest, Vader, Exhorder, and Pestilence.
Where Chronolysis and Hypnosomnia explored his mind and manipulation, Warren of Necrosis delves into his origins and twisted purpose: harvesting souls to regain strength. With each release, Black Rabbit expands its dark universe through handcrafted artwork, stage design, and narrative cohesion — blurring the lines between music, theatre, and nightmare. Once you enter the Warren, there is no return…”
